The Credit Card Scanner add-on allows you to use an attached credit card scanning device when submitting credit card payments. If you only have a card not present internet merchant account set up, you can still use the scanner to drop in the card holder's name, card number and expiration. If you have a card present account set up through Authorize.net you can scan cards with this add-on and get the lower rate that comes when sending the magnetic card data.
This add-on does not include a credit card scanning device but one can be purchased here
. It simply turns on functionality inside the program to handle processing raw card data.
When you set up your Authorize.net account at Admin -> Setup - Receivables -> Credit Card Options, be sure to set Account Type to Card Not Present if that is how the account is set up with Authorize.net.
To use the scanning device choose to make a credit card payment (POS system or Billing -> Invoices -> Enter Payments for example). The screen that asks for credit card data will automatically have the cursor in a yellow-highlighted box. Simply scan the card. If successful the box outline will turn to green and the card holder's name, card number and expiration date will automatically fill in the appropriate boxes. The magnetic card data will be captured in the green outlined box and will be sent to Authorize.net when you click to save the payment.

are additional features you can activate inside your NolaPro installation to give you certain capabilities not included in the base package. The activation process is very simple:
(1) After purchase you will be emailed an activation code.
(2) In NolaPro go to Tools -> Add-Ons.
(3) Click on 'Apply Activation Code'.
(4) Input the code in the 'Insert Code' field.
(5) Click the "Activate Feature" button.
(6) Click the "Finalize Installation" at the bottom of the page and log out/in.
Your feature will now be turned on inside NolaPro.
